This is a windchime that came to be needing a boost, and another piece of glass. This shows the old black string being replaced with copper chains.

This is my workspace with Alissa showing me her mad headstand skills, rapidly kicking her legs back and forth, fortunately with great confidence, balance, and skill. When she was done, she told me she didn't even think about the fact that she was surrounded by glass. ;-)

I think I am going to change the bottom so the glass hangs down longer, more like glass columns rather than bunches. UPDATE: New piece complete! Click on image to see the new look.

Pre-sorted beach glass. It takes some time!

Early 2012

Picture
I had gotten a lot of beach glass out to search through to make a pendant for my friend, Petey. She became a fan and commented regularly whenever I would post a new piece on Facebook. The very first time she wrote: "I. Want. That." A couple of years later, she got her very own. This pile of glass was pulled together just prior to the search. The pendant that resulted is just to the right. Now I say to Petey: "I. Want. That. Back."

I'm thinking that these bottles are looking like a collection in the making. Time to tumble!

This was something I was working on to donate to our local Project Graduation auction, but the '2' broke during second tumble! It is now a great 'J', though.

This was a custom piece for my fun friend, Molly. It is also the inspiration for my new collection,
